The whole point about going to Macao is to see Celine’s concert. Couldn’t wait one more month for her Shanghai stop in April; and, honestly, Macao is such a tiny yet charming place that I could always find excuses to set foot on it again.

The first half of 0315 was spent in agitated waiting and with fruitless effort trying to quench those yearnings.

Arrived in Macao around 2pm.

Once checked in, took only 5 minutes to unpack before hurrying out in t-shirt and multi-pocket trousers. The hotel was awful but luckily only steps away from Senado.
First thing was to fetch my ticket: Row HH, Seat 3, floor.

Met JPG at Venetian around 4pm, and decided to explore more of this palace instead of going food-hunting.
JPG: Venetian is not big.

So we walked around Venetian, made the best out of window-shopping…as most people did.

Gondolas…so very venetian. The gondolier sings opera as she/he gondoles…(although according to JPG, most gondoliers were from Las Vegas).

Approached the Venetian Arena around 7:30pm. I bought the MOP 1200 ticket, first row of this price rank, which was only half a meter behind the last row of MOP 2500 seats. Still…very far from the stage:

The concert started perfectly. Luuuuve the opening video! The whole arena was stirred up.
Ten years. I’ve waited for so long. One decade ago, when I was in high school, and still fond of writing down her lyrics on draft paper during exams…hadn’t expected this day coming, ha.
